Introducing the Yamaha
DGX-640 Portable Grand digital piano, Yamaha`s most natural-feel digital
piano produced so far. The DGX-640 has 88 graded hammer standard keys, 535
natural sound voices and 165 rhythm patterns, and is loaded with features
including a 6 track recorder and play-along function. All the best sounds are
available at the push of a button including Yamaha’s legendary grand piano
sound.
The ‘graded’ hammer
keyboard provides you with an authentic natural piano feel. ‘Graded’ refers to
the weighting of the keyboard – the notes lower down have a heavier feel to
those higher up. The 6 track recorder is ready to record your music when
inspiration hits you and can even layer your recordings to develop interesting
melodic ideas. Your musical ideas can either be internally stored or you can
use a USB flash drive if you wish to transfer your recordings to a computer.
The DGX-640 has the ability to connect to a Mac or PC should you wish to use
software or record onto your DAW. You can divide the keyboard in two and assign
different sounds to each half or you layer two sounds for a multi-layered
effect.
There are many useful
features included with the DGX-640, including the option to connect stereo
headphones if you wish to practice in private. Also included is a sheet music
rest and a foot switch sustain pedal.
